" You can stop the car" , Alex said, tapping out from his thoughts.

" Hello miss, can you be my girlfriend?"Alex said passively, turning to Sarah who was still in shock from his words.

Sarah kept staring at her phone as messages kept coming in from her younger brother.

In less than 20 minutes, she is home.

" Why can't I be here, since you have decided not to pick my calls or return messages, I am here to check on you, I got worried when I saw James post, what's going on?", Andrew asked, staring at her eyes with his eyes full of worries for his sister.

" You and James aren't together again, right,

I knew that guy is not a good match, he is not plain"

" Please just move your bag in, and mind you, I am fine, so get your stuff and leave early tomorrow, " she said as she entered the house.

" Why are you just coming now?", She said and burst into tears as she narrated all the events that happened with James, Lisa and her.

" You are an amazing woman and not to be taken for granted. Have fun and look out for a better man ", Andrew concluded.

" Better man?No better man exists, Andrew, I had always thought James is different from all these men they used to talked about at work, until reality happened.

" If you give up , you let that i***t win, I don't trust gender though, but all I know is you deserve a better man and that man is out there ", Andrew said convincely.

Stand first and go shower, let me clean up this place, we can conclude our talk later, Andrew said as he forced his sister up to her room.

Sarah smiles,

" My baby brother is now an adult, welcome to the HOOD", she said as she kept staring and smiling at her brother mature attitude.

" I am always this mature sis, is you that didn't notice"

The night was long , as Sarah kept thinking of how she can moved on

" I can't continue being sad , I need a distraction from all these, or should I take break from work ",

The thought of work, brought Alex words back to her mind.

" Or should I ?, She shakes her head to wave away the thought.

" You are a bit excited this morning", Andrew asked looking at the change expression, that's my sister, my sister is coming back.

" And is that your good morning?"

I have prepared your food with what I saw in the kitchen, I don't want to disturb your sleep.

" I can cook now, it has been long we see , don't doubt my cooking woman".

Sarah checked through her notifications as they eat their food, suddenly she paused, a notification post from Cynthia.

" Can't wait for this Sunday, party rocking time"

" I guess I am the only one that is sad here", she said

What??, Andrew asked as she saw her changed expression

" Never mind, I am going to give this a try, I don't even care, fake or not, one month or not, I just need a distraction"

Sir, what's your plan tomorrow is Sunday and…

What will you do, who are you planning to take to his birthday party? Should I make an arrangement with Rosy, she will always be willing to go

" Don't even do that , or else you are ready to go with her without him, it's even better like that, you guys can represent me", Alex answered.

Nathan stood speechless, as his phone beeped,

" IS MR. ALEX OFFER STILL AVAILABLE? " - unsaved contact.

His eyes widened with what he saw, he has sent a link to this person's contact last night and the answer he accepted wasn't this.

" Sir, can you check this out" , he said as he gave the phone to him.

" Perfect!, I knew I can't be wrong with my thinking ", he said holding his fists as someone that just won a battle.

" Get her everything she needs, I will see you guys tomorrow at the party".

Sarah was in hold , waiting for the response

" Maybe he hasn't seen it yet, or he has gotten another option, these guys are always quick to get whatever and whoever they want", she thought.

Suddenly her phone buzzed

" YES, I WILL PICK YOU UP TOMORROW "

Grandpa Williams house is full, all invited guests are present to celebrate the 70th birthday of Mr Williams.

The lightning on the beautiful decorations make the event ground looks heavily and the media are present busy taking pictures of all renowned guests.

" Grandpa, are you sure Alex will come, even if he comes I doubt if he will bring any woman, grandpa, I know you are looking forward to, but I don't want you to be disappointed, remember you health, Lisa said trying to console her grandpa ahead.
