After dealing with Corey, Talon drove back to the Imperial View Villa!

Early the next morning, Ariya woke up to a notification about a meeting where the current chairman would announce the next chairman.

Seeing the notification, Ariya jumped out of bed with joy. With Corey captured by Max, she should be able to take over the Willis Group!

Thinking of this, Talon took Ariya to the same meeting room the Willis family used yesterday.

Although Lord Willis had coughed up blood yesterday, he seemed fine, but his face was still pale.

Once everyone arrived, Lord Willis spoke weakly, "The group has faced many issues recently. I admit it was my mistake to trust Corey with managing the group. Now that Corey has been captured by Max, he will have to deal with his own debts. I hereby announce that Corey is expelled from the Willis family. From now on, his life or death is no concern of ours."

Lord Willis looked very pained. After all, Corey was his most beloved grandson. He had no choice but to make this decision because he couldn't repay the 5.7 million.

"Fortunately, we still have the Gray family's order. Now, I announce... Jensen Willis is appointed as the acting chairman." Lord Willis scanned the room and finally focused on a young man beside him, patting his shoulder earnestly. "Jensen, the hope of revitalizing the Willis family rests on you. I hope you can lead the Willis family out of its predicament and create new glory!"

Jensen stood up immediately, his face full of joy. "Grandpa, with the chairman's position handed to me, rest assured, I will strive to bring the Willis family back to prosperity!"

Those in the Willis family without any strong stance immediately began to flatter Jensen, filling the room with praise.

In contrast, Ariya felt her heart sink upon hearing the announcement. Even without Corey, it seemed her grandfather had no intention of letting her manage the group.

Talon squeezed her hand, signaling her not to worry.

Then Jensen smiled at everyone present and said, "Rest assured, I won't let you down. I also found out that the Gray family has indeed teamed up with the Skysoar Group. This morning, they took down the Primey Group's sign and put up Skysoar Group's instead. Tonight, they're hosting a banquet for prominent families in Philadelphia."

"Will our family be included?" Lord Willis asked, showing some renewed energy. With the Primey Group now acquired by the Skysoar Group, the 50 million contract payment was crucial for the nearly bankrupt Willis Group!

"We haven't received an invitation yet, but given our cooperation with the Gray Group, we might be included!" Jensen boasted.

"Jensen, it's crucial. You must not miss this opportunity!" Lord Willis advised solemnly.

"Don't worry. I will take it seriously. If necessary, I'll take Ariya to visit the Gray family again." Jensen glanced at Ariya and commanded. "This time, I hope you won't refuse. After all, you are also part of the Willis family!"

Ariya bit her lip. Just as she was about to say something, a man in a suit walked in from outside.

He first glanced at Talon, then walked to the other side of the conference table, smiling. "I hope I'm not interrupting. Let me introduce myself. I'm Ralphy Hill, the chairman of Pennsylvania's Skysoar Group."

"Ah!" Lord Willis exclaimed, quickly standing up and knocking over his teacup in the process.

Lord Willis was visibly excited. "Nice seeing you again, Chairman Hill! We met yesterday! Please, have a seat!"

The Willis family members all stood up, respectfully looking at Ralphy. This was the chairman of Skysoar Group, worth tens of hundreds of billions!

"No need to be so formal. I'm here to deliver an invitation." Ralphy said as he took out an exquisite invitation with beautiful gold silk patterns.

The Willis family members were secretly impressed. This was true high society! Even an invitation was so elegant and noble. If the Willis family could cooperate with Skysoar Group, making billions would be easy.

"Skysoar Group has acquired Jack's Primey Group. Tonight at 8 p.m., we will have a banquet at the Stardom Hotel. I would like to invite the Willis family to attend and discuss our future cooperation plans."

"Yes, perfect! We'll definitely attend!" Lord Willis accepted the invitation with both hands, trying to hide his excitement.

"I'll take my leave then." Ralphy said and left.

"Our Willis family is going to prosper!" Lord Willis held the invitation, tears of joy streaming down his face. Being invited by Skysoar Group, and personally by Ralphy, gave him hope for the family's rise. "Jensen, figure out how many of us will go and get us some nice banquet attire fast. This is our big chance; we can't afford to look bad."

"Got it!" Jensen responded loudly, also feeling excited.

"What's wrong?" Talon asked, noticing Ariya's unhappiness.

"Nothing much!" Ariya sighed. She had thought that after Corey was expelled, her grandfather would appoint her as the acting chairman. But the position went to Jensen, and she wasn't even included in the Skysoar Group banquet guest list, leaving her feeling extremely disappointed.

"Don't worry, I'll get back everything you've lost." Talon reached out to hold Ariya's hand.

"Talon, I'm really grateful that you came back to help Maisy, but remember, this isn't the military. Stop making such big promises; the more you say, the more anxious I get!"

With this, Ariya's eyes flashed with sorrow, and she turned to leave.

Talon silently watched her desolate figure. "You may not believe me, but tonight's wedding will make you the happiest bride in the city. I want everyone to envy you!"

Returning to the Imperial View Villa, Ariya saw Norah directing a few workers. "Put this here! Be careful, or you'll break it!" Norah shouted.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Ariya asked, puzzled.

"The Gray family gave you the villa. And I happened to be free these days, so I moved in." Norah said, smiling widely.

"Mom! This villa isn't ours; we're just staying here temporarily!" Ariya hurriedly explained.

"Don't yelling at me. Didn't Jack give you this villa? If he gave it to you, it's yours. I'm your mom; what's wrong with me staying here for a few days? Now, divorce Talon, understand?"

Norah glared at Ariya and then busied herself again. At six in the evening, a brand-new Bentley stopped at the gate of the Imperial View Villa. "Hello, is this the home of Ariya, Ms. Willis?"

"Yes, it is! And you are?" Norah opened the door, and seeing Ralphy dressed impressively, her tone became more respectful.

"Hello, I'm the chairman of Skysoar Group, and I've specifically invited Ms. Willis to attend tonight's banquet," Ralphy smiled humbly and asked, "Is Ms. Willis here?"

"Gosh... Skysoar Group! Are you the chairman of Skysoar Group?" Norah was shocked and immediately showed a delighted expression.

"Ariya is right here. I'll get her for you!" Just as Norah turned around, she saw Ariya already at the door. "Skysoar Group invited me? How is that possible?"

While Ariya was still in disbelief, Norah had already changed clothes, walked out of the villa, and forcefully dragged Ariya into the Bentley heading to the banquet.

As soon as Norah got in the car, she started cozying up to Ralphy with an extremely flattering tone. "Chairman Hill, you don't look a day over thirty! Managing such a huge enterprise like Skysoar Group at your age is truly impressive!"

"You misunderstand. I'm not the primary investor in Skysoar Group; I'm just managing it on their behalf."

"If it's not you, then who could it be?" Norah's eyes widened instantly.
