Even when the Willis family was at its most prosperous, their records never displayed more than two hundred million in cash flow. If they were to reach five hundred million, they would become a prominent family in Philadelphia.
"Listen up, whether it's fifty million or five hundred million, Skysoar Group only works with Ariya. And if the Willis family is thinking of replacing her, we'll cut ties. So think about it carefully!" Jack and his son left with Ralphy, leaving the Willis family in disbelief.
Corey, in particular, was dumbfounded and shouted, "Why only cooperate with Ariya? Why?"
"You bastard! Aren't you ashamed enough?" Lord Willis strode forward, kicked Corey hard, and then reluctantly got into the car and returned to the Willis villa.
He couldn't understand why Ariya was so important. She was just a disposable pawn in this collaboration!
What baffled him even more was that Ariya probably hadn't even slept with Bertie, but she still managed to land this fifty-million-dollar contract. What tricks did she use to pull that off?

After being kicked out of the Willis villa by the guards, Ariya returned to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
"What's wrong?" Talon, who had been observing from outside the ward for a while, saw Ariya staring blankly at her daughter and couldn't help but walk in and ask considerately.
"I-I've been essentially fired by the Willis Group!" Ariya took a deep breath and said somewhat dejectedly, "Starting tomorrow, I have to find a job, or I won't be able to support my family!"
"I thought it was something major. Isn't leaving the Willis family better for you? Or I'd have a hard time dealing with Corey's collusion with Casper to have Maisy take Grelening!" Talon said with a cold smile.
"What? Maisy's misdiagnosed leukemia? Corey ordered Casper to do it?" Ariya was shocked and looked at Talon in disbelief.
"Who else do you think?" Talon asked back, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
"That beast! Why did he do that?" Ariya's anger flared as she recalled the days when her daughter was bedridden and on the brink of death.
"His goal was obviously to make you unable to cover the sky-high medical bills, then use Maisy's life as leverage to force you to marry Bertie. Once you left, no one would compete with him for the chairman. Plus, by helping Bertie, he could also secure that twenty million order from the Primey Group, right?" Talon analyzed.
Ariya shouted angrily, "Talon, let's go to the Willis villa right now. I want to confront Corey in person!"
She could sacrifice for the Willis family and let them expel her, but she would never tolerate Corey using such cruel means against her child.

At seven o'clock in the evening, Talon took Ariya to the Willis villa.
As soon as they got out of the Hummer, they headed straight for the conference room.
Seeing Ariya storm in, Lord Willis was shocked. He hadn't expected Ariya to return on her own.
Others were also stunned because they were just discussing how to bring Ariya back to the Willis family. They didn't expect her to return so quickly.
Thinking that Ariya's return would help secure the contract with Skysoar Group, Lord Willis immediately smiled warmly and said, "Ariya, I'm glad you came back to apologize. While you were away, I took some time to reflect on your contributions over the past five years and realized I shouldn't have expelled you from the family!"
Yet Ariya paid no attention to Lord Willis at the moment. Instead, she icily stared at Corey and said, "I have something to ask Corey!"
"Ask me? What is it?" Corey, his face covered in bandages like a mummy, responded.
"Did you bribe Casper to deliberately diagnose my daughter with leukemia? Did you instruct him to prescribe Grelening? Do you know that this drug would cause her to die from liver failure?" Ariya's fury erupted.
The Willis family members were in an uproar! 'Could Corey really have bribed Casper?'
"Ariya! You b***h! When did you ever see me bribe Casper? Don't slander me!" Corey, trembling with anger, pointed at Ariya while defending and threatening her. "Maisy's leukemia was diagnosed by Casper. Who can testify that I bribed him? Do you have any evidence?"
He added. "If you don't have any evidence, you're just slandering me and trying to ruin my reputation. I can call the police and have you arrested at any moment!"
"You!" Ariya pointed at Corey in anger, but didn't know what to say. Casper was already dead; where else could she find evidence?
Talon had already planned how to deal with Corey. He clapped his hands, and Azureblade led a dozen of Corey's creditors into the room.
Seeing so many creditors, Corey's face turned pale. Just as he was about to say something, Talon interrupted him. "Tell us, how much does Corey owe you?"
"Owe money? When have I ever owed money? This is the Willis family's private residence. Leave immediately or I'll call the police!" Corey shouted forcefully. But when he noticed the heavyset man beside Talon, his fear was immediate and palpable.
The fat man glanced at Corey and then looked at Lord Willis. "Mr. Willis, my name is Max Steele. I run a gambling casino in Philadelphia. Corey often comes to gamble. When he ran out of money, he borrowed a bit from me—just two million and thirty hundred thousand dollars, including interest!"
Steele placed several loan agreements on the table. "Otherwise, I'll use these agreements to take over your clothing factory in the east of the city."
"You... you're Max?" Lord Willis was shocked because there was only one casino in Philadelphia, SugarHouse Casino, run by Max Steele.
Max had a strong background in organized crime and was ruthless. Just two days ago, he shot a gambler who failed to repay a debt, and the incident made the Philadelphia news.
"Oh, your lordship know me." Max smiled icily. "So, are you going to pay Corey's gambling debt today?"
"Corey! Do you owe him money?" Looking at the pile of loan agreements, Lord Willis's voice trembled. He then turned and icily glared at Corey.
"Grandpa, don't believe his nonsense. I don't gamble. You know that!" Corey denied, refusing to acknowledge the gambling debt, fully aware that gambling debts were not legally protected.
Max immediately became furious, pulled out a gun, and pressed it against Corey's head. "Corey! In all my years running a casino, no one has ever dared to owe me money! I'm asking you just one question: are you going to pay the the debt or not?"
"I- I!" Corey, suddenly facing a gun to his head, turned pale with fear, his legs trembling uncontrollably!
It wasn't that he didn't want to admit it, but he had used the Willis Group's public funds to gamble. If Lord Willis knew that, he would be furious. And Corey would lose everyone's trust in the Willis family.
Also, after losing the public funds, he had mortgaged the clothing factory to Max. He had hoped that once Lord Willis handed over the chairman position to him, he could secure the Skysoar Group order to settle the gambling debt, but he didn't expect the creditors to show up now!
Holding back his anger, Lord Willis said to Max and the other creditors, "Mr. Steele, please calm down and don't hurt my grandson. The Willis family will take care of the debt! And as for the rest of you, does Corey owe you money from gambling too?"
Several people began to list the debt.
"No! I am the manager of the Kyron Hotel in Philadelphia. Over the past few months, Corey has been hosting guests at our place, running up a tab of about three hundred thousand!"
"I manage a luxury retail store in Philadelphia. Last month, Corey took several sets of branded clothes and a Patek Philippe watch. The payment is about to be due tomorrow, but I can't reach him by phone, so I came to check on it!"
"Mr. Willis, I'm the Lamborghini dealer from Philadelphia. Corey bought a seven hundred thousand Lamborghini Aventador at the beginning of this month. Here is his loan agreement!"
"Mr. Willis..."
"Mr. Willis..." A dozen creditors took out Corey's loan agreements to collect debts, and the total amount exceeded five million and seven hundred thousand dollars.
"Pfft!" After calculating the amount in his mind, Lord Willis spat out a mouthful of blood in anger.
Luxury cars, expensive watches, unpaid meals, and huge gambling debts... The Willis family was already on the brink of financial collapse. Was Corey trying to bankrupt the Willis Group with such massive spending?
Damn it, Lord Willis was actually planning to hand over the vast Willis family and its businesses to Corey, that shameless gambler!
