"W-Who are you?!" Tilly asked in terror, backing away from Talon.
Maisy saw Talon's back and rushed over, crying, "Daddy, I didn't hit Kairo. He called me a bastard, so I just pushed him a little! He lost his balance and fell next to the trash can. That's how he ended up like that!"
Maisy then looked at Kairo with tearful eyes. "Kairo, I told you I have a daddy. This is my daddy! This is my daddy!"
"Are you really her father?" The middle-aged woman, although held by Talon, did not give up saying something harsh. She scrutinized Talon from head to toe with disdain. 'His clothes and shoes combined don't cost more than a hundred bucks, and he dares to touch me? It's disgusting.'
"Let go of me immediately! Let me teach your daughter a lesson today! Or I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"
Talon's face darkened, and he kicked suddenly without a word.
"Bang!"
The middle-aged woman never expected Talon to strike. She felt like she had been hit by a speeding train and was sent flying.
Even more terrifying, she felt no pain. As she fell, her back crashed against a car, shattering the glass. Only then did she feel the pain and let out a scream.
In an instant, Tilly and Tony were stunned. They were just ordinary people and couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
"You brat, how dare you hit her?" After a moment, Tony finally reacted, furious. "Alright, you just wait here. I'll call my guys over right now! If I don't finish you off today, I don't deserve to stay in this area!"
Tony pulled out his phone. Tilly, now anxious, stepped forward. "Come on, calm down, both of you. It's just kids being kids… It's normal. Can't we just move on?"
"Normal? His daughter beat up my son, my wife got hit, and my car's glass is shattered! You call that normal? Today, I'll show you what happens when you mess with me in Philadelphia!"
Tony shot Tilly a glare before quickly dialing the phone.
"Hey, Nic, get the crew over to Starfall Kindergarten now. Yeah, right now!"
Talon sneered, not moving an inch.
Fifteen minutes later, over ten cars pulled up, bringing more than sixty thugs.
The leader strode up to Tony and said viciously, "Mr. Adams, who crossed you? Point him out, and I'll break him.!"
"He!" Tony pointed at Talon, who was holding Maisy. Any fear Tony had of Talon vanished with sixty gang members at his back.
"You punk, you pissed off Mr. Adams?" The leader, cigarette dangling from his lips, jabbed a finger at Talon. "I'll give you a chance. Drop to the ground and lick Mr. Adams' shoes. And apologize! Otherwise, don't blame me. I've killed over ten people. I won't mind if you'll just be another name on my list!"
"Bang!" But Azureblade responded with a heavy punch, sending the leader flying. His internal organs felt like they had been torn apart. He wanted to scream, but no sound came out.
"You call yourself a killer?" Azureblade advanced step by step, his eyes full of disdain.
Seeing their leader taken down, the remaining men rushed forward, some drawing knives as they charged at Azureblade.
Tony sneered from the side, thinking, 'even with help, there's no way you can take on sixty people alone.'
And these were the most ruthless gang members around. Talon's family wasn't getting out of this.
Azureblade also sneered. After serving in the military for four years, rising from a soldier to the general's personal guard, he walked over countless dead bodies. How could these gang members scare him?
He casually stretched and then charged into the crowd, beginning a frenzy of slaughter.
Every strike he made shattered bones.
Ten men went down, then twenty, and by the time thirty lay crumpled on the ground, Tony finally panicked. Was this guy even human?
How could one man take down thirty?
The fallen had broken bones—crippled if not dead—and this was Azureblade holding back.
'If he had a weapon...' Tony felt a chill all over, too scared to think further.
When only a dozen were left, they retreated with every step Azureblade took forward, bewildered and terrified.
They shared Tony's confusion. Was this guy even human?
"Sir, we were wrong. We never should've come!" One man couldn't withstand the pressure from Azureblade any longer. Seeing the fallen bodies, he fell to the ground, begging.
"Sir, please stop. We surrender. It was Tony who made us do it! Please don't hold us responsible. Spare us. Please, spare us..."
The remaining men had no fight left in them, raising their hands in surrender and pleading.
"Ignorant men!"
Azureblade halted, looking at them with contempt. To him, there was no mercy, but only death.
Just as Azureblade was about to strike, a thought crossed his mind. He turned, smiling wickedly at Tony. In that moment, Tony felt as if a predator had locked its gaze on him, paralyzing him with fear.
To make it worse, Azureblade licked the blood from his lips and walked towards him.
"You punk, were you the one bullying tour general's daughter?"
At the same time, Talon, holding Maisy, approached Tony. With every step Talon took, Tony stumbled back, his fear growing by the second. This man had only struck once, but his subordinate had taken on sixty gang members. How powerful must he be?
"What... What do you want?" Tony trembled.
"You scared my daughter. I want you to apologize," Talon said coldly.
Then he added, "If you don't, I'll kill one person every minute until you do—starting with your wife!"
Azureblade moved again, almost like a whirlwind, grabbing the middle-aged woman with one hand. With two fingers, he clamped around her throat like a tiger's claw, tightly gripping her neck.
"Honey... save me..." The middle-aged woman was truly terrified. She turned to look at Tony, her eyes filled with a desperate desire to survive.
