Talon reached out to precisely grab her wrist, looking at her with a gloomy expression.
Itzel was taken aback and hurriedly tried to pull her hand away while also threatening Talon. "What are you doing? You're hurting me! You not only trespassed into our office area, but you're also trying to force me! Let go of me, quick! Otherwise, I'll report you and have you arrested! Someone! Help!"
Carlo finally came out, shouting, "Shut up!"
"Manager, you finally came out! This person says he wants to see you, and he's bullying me!" Itzel immediately pretended to be wronged, reporting him as soon as she saw the manager.
Carlo ignored Itzel and looked at Talon. "Excuse me, did you just say your last name is Storm? But Talon, Mr. Storm? Mr. Kieran asked you to come pick up the car keys?"
"Yes," Talon replied coldly.
"Manager, this person said…" Itzel was also a bit stunned.
"Shut up!" Carlo was nearly driven mad. To dare to block Talon was a feat even the chairman feared. If not handled properly, Talon could just tell Kieran, and Carlo's status and wealth would vanish in an instant.
Carlo couldn't just watch this happen. He slammed his hand down and angrily shouted, "Get down on your knees and apologize to Mr. Storm! If Mr. Storm doesn't forgive you, we at Philadelphia Bank can send you to prison!"
Itzel was jolted awake by this slap. She realized that the person in front of her was definitely not someone of her level, given Carlo's respectful attitude towards him.
"Mr. Storm, I'm sorry! Please have mercy and forgive me!" Itzel no longer cared about her pride, repeatedly bowing and apologizing.
Talon looked down at her and, after a long pause, said lightly, "Where are the keys?"
Carlo hurried back to his office, took out a car key and a card, and handed them to Talon with both hands. "Here, here. The car just finished modifications today and is still at the garage. Take the keys and look for someone named Jerry Lunn at the garage to get the car. Also, Lord Gordon instructed that this credit card can be used freely, and holding it allows you access to any place of the Gordon family. Mr. Storm, would you like me to accompany you to pick up the car?"
Talon took the car keys and credit card, giving Itzel a cold glance and said, "No need. In the future, can I meet your manager without an appointment?"
"Yes, yes, absolutely!" Itzel was still bent over, trembling in fear.
"That's good." Talon smiled lightly; he really had no reason to be angry with someone like Itzel.
Talon left the bank and took a taxi straight to the repair shop.
This repair shop was the largest car modification place in Philadelphia; it had all the materials available internationally, specializing in modifications for luxury cars. Rumor had it that there were races almost every night, especially after midnight, where one could truly experience speed and passion.
"What are you doing here?" The receptionist, with dyed yellow hair, glanced at Talon. His attire was too ordinary, unlike the noble young masters who usually frequented this place; he clearly didn't belong.
Talon ignored the receptionist's attitude. "I'm looking for someone. His name is Jerry Lunn; please notify him that someone is here to pick up a car."
"Looking for Mr. Lunn?" The receptionist paused slightly, her expression becoming more serious.
Jerry was the founder of this repair shop, who loved to disassemble and assemble vehicles and occasionally raced, achieving many good rankings. But how could Jerry know someone dressed like this?
The receptionist was puzzled but, out of professional courtesy, replied, "Mr. Lunn left an hour ago; there was a problem with Mr. Gray's car, and he went to check it. Considering the time, he should be back soon. Please take a seat over here and wait a bit."
As the receptionist spoke, she led Talon to the waiting area and poured him a glass of water.
Talon was inspecting the layout of the repair shop when two young female employees in uniforms approached, looking quite sexy.
At this moment, one of the girls, named Talia, rested her chin on her hand and said, "By the way, do you know there's a Bentley at the repair shop recently? I heard this car was imported from abroad, and there are only five in the world, costing over 100 million just to land. That's not the scary part; the most terrifying thing is that once it enters our shop, the modification cost is over 200 million, and that's without Mr. Lunn making any profit!"
"So the total is over 300 million? Which young master is that rich?" The other girl's eyes lit up.
"Exactly! But I don't know whose it is. If I knew, I'd definitely go after him. I just don't believe that with my looks, I can't win him over!" Talia laughed, but everyone could tell she was just joking.
"Oh, our Talia is getting excited, dreaming of being taken away by a rich man."
"You're the one getting excited…" The two girls playfully bickered.
However, they may have gone a bit too far; Talia accidentally bumped into Talon, spilling the water from her cup.
Talia quickly apologized. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to; I really didn't! Look, how much is your outfit worth? I'll compensate you. I don't have cash; can we do it through a QR code?"
Talon shook his head. "It's fine; the clothes aren't worth anything; no need to compensate."
Talon stood up, asked the receptionist for a tissue, and wiped the water stains off his clothes.
The other girl nudged Talia with her elbow. "Hey, this guy's pretty handsome. Should you use all your charm to flirt with him?"
"Forget it; he's good-looking, but he looks so shabby. He could've asked for a fortune just now; even if he asked for a thousand bucks, I might have given it to him. These days, the most feared are the broke and the stupid, sigh." Talia looked at Talon with disdain, shaking her head and sighing.
Just then, the repair shop erupted with the roar of an engine as a Lamborghini rushed in. Just as it was about to crash into the front desk, it came to a sharp stop, completing a beautiful drift.
"Mr. Lunn, are you trying to scare me to death every time?" The receptionist gasped, clutching her chest as she spoke to the man getting out of the car.
"Up your courage a bit," Jerry tossed the keys to the receptionist, then asked seriously, "Did anyone come looking for me to pick up a car?"
The receptionist suddenly remembered Talon. "There's a person over there who says he's looking for you. But looking at his attire, he doesn't seem like a wealthy person, yet he says he's here to pick up a car."
Jerry glanced at Talon, seeing the heroism in his brow, and rushed over to him.
"Mr. Lunn, can you take me tonight?" Talia made a move to grab Jerry.
"Get lost!" Jerry turned back and glared at her before quickly walking toward Talon.
Talia was taken aback and took a while to recover. 'What's going on with Mr. Lunn? He has never scolded me like this before.'
"Sir, are you Mr. Storm?" Jerry asked cautiously.
He had been busy with this Bentley for half a month. Today, people from the Gordon family and Carlo from the bank called, saying someone with the last name Storm was coming to pick up the car. Who was this person that the Gordon family valued so much? Jerry didn't dare to ask and couldn't even stand upright.
Talon took out the Bentley key and said, "Yes, I'm here to pick up the car."
"Okay, please wait a moment; I'll get the car for you right away." Jerry took the key with both hands and respectfully backed away.
Watching Jerry leave, Talia and her friend were both dumbfounded.
One girl swallowed hard and murmured, "Talia, it looks like you've stirred up a big figure? Look at Mr. Lunn's attitude toward him; to be honest, I've never seen him like this. What do you think… this shabby handsome guy, who exactly is he?"
"How would I know…" Talia felt chaotic inside. 'Who would have thought that someone dressed so poorly could be such an important figure?'
