Talon was taken aback, thinking, 'This girl is trying to threaten me during this opportunity.'
Baron sweated nervously beside him. 'Silly daughter, do you know you're threatening a general? Anyone who dared to threaten him in this world has already been wiped out!'
Baron exclaimed in exasperation, "Shut up! Mr. Storm went into the ladies' room to investigate Dale's background. Who knew you would just drop your pants and start peeing without asking any questions?"
He added, "Luckily, it was Mr. Storm you encountered. What if it had been a bad person? Wendy, take her back to her room. She is not allowed to leave the house until the old man's birthday!"
"Miss, you need to come with me back to your room," Wendy said as she reached for Nia.
Nia stubbornly shook off Wendy's hand and looked at Talon. "I know there's nothing good that comes from threatening you. If you want to kill me, then go ahead! I just need to stay alive, and if you don't agree to my conditions, I will definitely expose this matter!"
Talon, distressed, grabbed Wendy and shook his head at her. "It seems you're prepared to go all out if I don't agree to you?"
Nia nodded vigorously. "I don't know if the net will break, but the fish is definitely going to die!"
"Speak," Talon said, clasping his hands behind his back and looking at Nia seriously.
"Mr. Storm, I want to join your Dragon Nest army to avenge my brother!" Nia nearly bit her teeth as she forced the words out.
"No," Talon refused without a moment's hesitation.
"The Dragon Nest army only has ten women for special missions. None of them are retired or have died; how could I take you in? Besides, joining the Dragon Nest army isn't just my decision."
He continued, "Anyone who wants to join needs approval from higher-ups; I can't agree to you. Furthermore, we've already avenged your brother. I personally took the head of the one who killed him; that's the consequence of provoking us."
"Alright, I won't join the Dragon Nest army. Just let me train with you, and that should be fine, right?" Nia had already known she couldn't get into the Dragon Nest army, but she had to put that forward first and then reveal her true purpose, making it difficult for Talon to refuse.
Sure enough, Talon said lightly, "I can consider that. Two of my four bodyguards are resting in Philadelphia; you can ask them to train you. But I must say upfront, their training methods won't be lenient just because you're a woman."
"Alright, Mr. Storm! From now on, I'm yours!" Nia said joyfully and without any concern.
Baron watched his daughter and felt very worried. Yet, after a moment of thought, he felt his daughter was quite clever. If she could be near Talon, whether with him or the bodyguards, her safety would be guaranteed.
The next day, the Richards family would definitely come looking for her, but since she was in Philadelphia, what could they do? More importantly, with this connection, Talon's relationship with the Gordon family would strengthen. If the Gordon family faced any issues in the future, Talon wouldn't stand by idly. With the backing of the Dragon Nest army, the Gordon family's development could only improve.
Although Baron felt delighted internally, he didn't dare show it on his face. "This is ridiculous, simply ridiculous. Mr. Storm, don't take this child seriously. It's all her grandfather's spoiling. I'll lock her up right away; you don't need to take her with you."
Talon smiled nonchalantly. "If I don't take her, she'll probably publicize my incident in the ladies' room. If it were someone else, I could find a hundred ways to shut them up, but she happens to be from the Gordon family. Fine, as long as she can stick with it, I'll let her be."
Hearing this, Baron suddenly laughed heartily. "Alright, since Mr. Storm has agreed, I won't interfere. Mr. Storm, it's already past midnight with all this fuss. Why don't you stay here tonight?"
Talon glanced at the time; it was already past three in the morning. He figured Ariya must have gone to sleep, so he decided to stay at the Gordon family.
Early the next morning, before Talon had fully woken up, Azureblade's phone call came in. "General, when the lady left this morning, she gave me a list. There are more than twenty companies on the list, and the lady said to invite them to the Arilon Group's renaming ceremony. I'd like to confirm if we should invite all twenty-four companies."
Talon nodded. "Since Ariya doesn't want to rely on Skysoar Group, let her create Arilon Group. You and Nightwing go notify these twenty-four companies, and make sure they arrive on time the day after tomorrow. Pay special attention to the Willis family; it's best they don't have contact with Ariya until I return."
"Understood. I'll handle this with Nightwing right away!" Azureblade said steadily before hanging up.
