At this moment, Insolence and Chaos stared intensely at Talon as if he were already a dead man.
Vinnie sneered and pointed at Insolence and Chaos, saying, "Stinking brat, you don't know them? Let me introduce them to you! They were mercenaries with dozens of kills. To them, you're no different from a lamb waiting to be slaughtered!"
Talon's expression changed slightly. "Were you behind the m******e three years ago? Have you killed soldiers in the Middle East?"
Vinnie laughed heartily. "Brat, you have some insight. That's why I'm telling you, you'd better do as they say, or you won't even know how you died!"
Ariya's hands trembled nervously. She looked at Talon and saw a trace of sorrow on his face, his eyes filled with killing intent.
"Both you will die here, and Masked King will also pay for their deaths!"
Talon's tone turned stern, and a mountain-like killing intent surged out from within him, shattering the murderous aura released by Insolence and Chaos.
A powerful aura of death enveloped them. Insolence and Chaos saw that this was no human but a beast risen from hell.
The m******e of Middle Eastern Soldiers had completely enraged Talon.
But despite Talon's strong aura, Insolence and Chaos were unfazed. They were confident that together they could withstand any attack.
"I don't know whose grievances my blood will cleanse, and I don't want to know. I'll ask you one last time: Will you hand over the contract or not? Will you see Masked King or not?" Insolence said, pulling out a three-edged dagger.
Talon took out his phone and sent a text message.
He was ready to kill them all— Insolence, Chaos and Masked King.
"I'll go with you, and after meeting Masked King, I'll present the contract."
Talon put away his phone and looked at Ariya. "But let her leave first."
"Talon, you can't go!" Ariya pleaded desperately, grabbing Talon's arm tightly.
"If you go, you'll be dead for sure. We'll call the police and let them handle it! I don't believe they dare to capture you in front of the police!"
Ariya frantically searched for her phone, but Talon reached out and gently shook his head. The police couldn't handle this situation.
Ariya clung to Talon, but Talon said nothing more and followed them back to Masked King's villa.
By then, the evening banquet had ended, and many servers were cleaning up. Mr. Price was waiting at the door.
Seeing Talon, Mr. Price jogged over with a forced smile. "Mr. Storm, our prince is waiting for you in the living room."
Talon didn't speak and followed Mr. Price to the living room.
The living room was super fancy. And there was this huge desk that belonged to the boss. And then there was this lady, just calmly making coffee, not even bothering to look up when Talon walked in. And over on the left side of the desk, there was this dude wearing a mask, just staring at Talon all curious-like.
"So you're Talon, a friend of Skysoar Group's Ralphy? I'm a businessman like Ralphy, but we've never met. Please, Mr. Storm, have a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee," Masked King waved, inviting Talon to sit.
"Sir, what coffee would you like?" the woman brewing coffee asked softly.
"I'm not here for coffee. I have a few questions," Talon said, tapping his fingers rhythmically on the desk.
"Damn it, the boss didn't invite you to ask questions! Be sensible and hand over the contract. Let your woman stay with me; I might spare you. If you keep yapping, believe I'll ruin you!" Vinnie couldn't hold back any longer and yelled.
Talon's hand slightly lifted, then came crashing down, driving the coffee cup into the wooden desk like a nail. Surprisingly, the porcelain cup didn't break, and even the coffee in front of Masked King didn't spill.
Masked King's pupils contracted. As a practiced individual, he knew the strength and skill required for such an act and looked at Talon with increased solemnity.
"I'm talking to Masked King. If anyone else dares to interrupt, their head will be next." Talon said coldly.
Vinnie's face turned pale as he saw the coffee cup embedded into the desk with one hand. He had no doubt that if he spoke again, his head would be impaled by the cup.
"Mr. Storm's skills are impressive. I admire them," Masked King clapped twice, pretending to be calm.
"But I'm curious about your questions."
"After I answer them all, we might have a drink together," Masked King seemed inclined to be forthcoming.
"I'm afraid after my questions, you won't be in the mood for drinking," Talon glanced at his phone, then placed it gently on the table. "I've heard that you were involved in the m******e of Middle Eastern Soldiers!"
At this, Masked King's face changed drastically. He said sternly, "Who are you? How do you know about the m******e?"
"How do I know? Because I'm here as God's envoy to seek justice!" Talon stood up slowly.
"Haha, seeking justice? I am justice in this world!" Masked King grabbed the coffee cup and threw it to the ground. "I was thinking of keeping you for my use and giving you a future, but now, it's unnecessary. You're right; I am the mastermind behind the m******e. After you die, let your soul come to find me. Insolence, Chaos, kill him!"
