"Max, you finally showed up!" Mila threw herself into Max's arms, her face full of grievance. "The tavern owner and two drunks teamed up to beat me up. Max, I told them I'm your woman, but they still dared to hit me. You have to get revenge for me today!"

"s**t! Don't worry. Now that I'm here, it's all going to be sorted out!" Max's expression was full of rage. "If I don't make him bow and beg for mercy, I'll change my name to Fool!"

The subordinates gathered in a noisy manner. There was no time to burn the house, as they arrived fiercely in front of the three.

"Max, it's him who beat Sid!" The gang member pointed at Azureblade, gritting his teeth.

Max looked in the direction pointed by the gang member and, with just one glance, felt a chill down his spine, his whole body trembling.

Back then, Corey was tortured to the point of wishing for death.

How could this person be here?

"Max, the one who hit me is him!" Mila, not understanding why Max was stunned, arrogantly said.
