Chapter FourHearing the scream, Kate rushed from the games room, thinking that her imagined stalker might be real. Dashing down the stairs, she ran to the garage, coming to an abrupt stop when she saw Beth standing motionless by the open door.
Approaching her, Kate noticed the small stream of blood emerging from beneath the door. “What happened?”
Beth pointed to the door, refusing to look inside.
