Abigail pushed Eli out with the ball of flame she developed by rolling her hands and they both moved under the moonlight while displaying their powers and Eli kept provoking Abigail by putting off any fire she brings up. Abigail who was determined to develop her power at all cost was trying all her best to overcome Eli and make her fire bigger.
She wasn't herself because the rice wine Eli made her drink took over her and she was drunk in magic she had chanted in it. The wine was making her body tense up and her power took over her while Eli was grooming it by quenching the fire with her own water. They went at it for more than one hour and Abigail's ability to make fire quickly improved but she still wasn't a match for Eli.
