Chapter 12 The Fight

Stella POV

Today is Saturday another busy day because I have three Event planned so I was super busy, I am just moving from one place to another to check if there is no issue, although I trust the people I put in charge of each occasion but I still have to check. The my phone ring I thought is one of the people I put in charge of the event.

Stella: what? kuku kill me na, you wan make I cut myself into pieces, if you no fit for the job comot na make I hire person way if do the work (what? just kill me , do you want me to cut myself into pieces? ,if you can't do the work then leave the job so I can hire someone that can do the job better)" then I hear the person laughing over the phone so I check my phone to who is calling. "oh it you Cynthia hope no problem" I ask because most of the time she call me is when she have problem .

Cynthia: what did you mean can't I call you again if I have no problem .

Stella: "Cynthia of cause you can call".

Cynthia: "Even if you say I can't, I will still call you, anyway I am calling you to ask if you are busy tomorrow? "

Stella:" No, I'm not busy not until 2 pm because I have a surprise birthday party" .

Cynthia: "Ok can you please come to my house you know my wedding anniversary is in five days and I need your help" .

Stella: "Okay I will be there in the morning " .

Cynthia:" perfect, thank you, my regards to the kids and don't cut yourself into pieces and don't stress yourself bye.

She then cut the call" .

Stella: "Okay bye ".

Cynthia cut the call .

After the call I sighed and I thank God because it's not her usual emergency .

Cynthia POV

The next day Stella arrived at my house at 8:30 in the morning, seeing there is non of our worker is around in the house.

"Good morning where is everybody" Stella asked

"Good morning, I told all the worker to take few days off and the kids are with the Grandma David's Mom since We will soon be leaving to stay in the hotel" I told her.

"oh okay so what is your plan for your wedding anniversary" she asked

"I was thinking maybe......" Cynthia was interrupt when her phone ring

Cynthia :" Hello ma "

Mrs Elizabeth: "Good morning to you my child,, How are you ?"

Cynthia:" I'm fine ma How are you and daddy ?"

Mrs Elizabeth: "we all fine my dear, I am calling you to inform you that be ready to pick us at the car park in any time from now" .

Cynthia: "What? when did you leave Ibadan, why didn't you tell me that you are going today so that I can prepare for you guys" .

Mrs Elizabeth: "Well we are here now so deal with it" .

Cynthia: "okay I will pick you up and book hotel for you guys" .

Mrs Elizabeth: "okay my child, your own children will care, respect and love for you and God will bless you".

Cynthia : "Amen " I drop the call

"What is that about" Stella ask me when she see me looking troubled .

"My mother is in Lagos and she asked me to come and pick them up from the carpark" I told her .

"what! and they're just telling you" .

"yes I have to go and pick them up right now Please wait for me in the house I will be back in less than an hour and don't worry David is not home it only Precious that is home but she doesn't come out of her room" Then I rush to my room to take my car key and rush to pickup my parents.

Stella POV

It been 20 minutes since Cynthia has gone to pick her parents from the carpark, I was sitting on the dining room when DAVID come back from where ever hole he crawled out.

"good morning" I greet him

"Where is my wife" he said to me without greeting or reply to my greeting.

"Don't you have her phone number" I reply him and continue pressing my phone

"Am I the one you are talking to like that" he yell at me

I just look at him and said nothing and continue pressing my phone.

"I see, I will be the one to train you since you lack manners that a woman should process I will teach you how to be a woman today" .

" If you want to talk about manner with me you should have at least have one, look at yourself do you have any manner at all, you walk into the house you don't even bother to greet me or answer to my greeting you just go straight and ask me where is your wife, she on my head ".

I was really angry but I hold it because if I show my anger if I do this i***t will take it out on Cynthia.

The next this I know He raise his hand wanted to slap me but I stand up and hold it "don't even...." before I go finish my statement you already push me and I hit my ribs on the dining table so I fall on the table and he use that opportunity to choke me so I try to reach the flower vase on the dining table and I smash on his head so he leave me alone and moan in pain you wanted to attack me again but I used the knife on their dining table to threaten him not to come closer

"If you come any closer I swear I will stab you to death and you can't wake up and revenge and when you die and I will piece your body I bury you and nobody will know how you die, you think everyone is your toy if you try that nonsense that you used to do with all those innocent woman and Cynthia with me either of us will die and I'm sure it will be you so don't mess with me because if you do I will make you regret it, I will make you and you're entire family life misery so don't mess with me, you maybe richer then me but I know criminal that can make you disappear".

Then I sew Precious standing with her mouth open and said to her when "when Cynthia is back tell her to call me or chat me up that I can't wait for her anymore and not to invite me to her house again if her husband is at home because I don't want her to be a widow"

I said to her and leave them alone in a dining and went to their living room and carry my bag and ready to leave there house then I turn to precious and said "precious don't tell Cynthia about what happened between me and your brother and I'm sure your brother will not want his wife to know he was beating by a woman " I said and leave their house.
