On the way to the doctor's office, Americus and Cristiano stop at Bella's Bagel Bakery. She was craving their pastrami, sweet spicy peppers, & swiss on a plain bagel. Also, a bagel with km cashew cream cheese.
Americus was still eating when the nurse called them to the back. She still believes this isn’t necessary, but the doctor says Cristiano is worried about her. So she’s going to perform an ultrasound to ease his mind. She’s applying gel to Americus stomach. “Better safe than sorry. Your husband insists that I do this."
Cristiano kisses her forehead, “humor me.” He winks at her.
“Okay, but you’ll see everything is fine.” Americus looks at the doctor putting the probe on her stomach
“What? He mumbles, listening to the monitor.
Americus squinted her eyes, looking at the monitor.
