25 The next night, the last night of vacation, Frankie sniffled into a tissue as he stood on the beach in front of a handful of family and friends gathered to witness Mya and David renew their vows under the stars, surrounded by candles tucked into the sand. He hiccupped as he recited the ceremony passages by heart. Frankie wasn’t the only one sniffling. Even Muffin was discreetly wiping her eyes on her sleeve.
