I couldn’t believe McCarthy was alive. I remembered the promises to myself that if he was alive what I would do to him. Though he may just live. My Kukolka has started to change. Gaining weight, a look of happiness in her eyes, each day her mouth was learning how to smile, the muscles loosening up. Her eyes was the biggest change, they didn’t look so dead anymore. I can’t wait for the day she laughed and looked human.
Don’t get me wrong I love her the way she is, even with the way her eyes looked dead, but seeing her change was making me love her more. I wonder if she is falling in love with me, just not knowing it was love yet. Sappy I know, but at the hotel on our honeymoon, for a moment I thought I would lose her.
