70. Treasure Hunting

I put on my black bikini this time. Then I get the little black dress to go over it. That should keep Marcus from complaining.

I check Charma and she's fine. Still out. Then I check Tye.

He stretches and smiles. He's got both hands and arms again.

"You look all better sir. If you want to sleep some more, you can. I think I'm about the only 1 up so far."

"Why are you up so early babydoll?"

"I fell asleep after like the millionth trip along the river ride. Thora fell asleep at the bottom of the pool."

"I'm so glad you like it there."

"I love it Tye." I lay down beside him and snuggle. "I love everything about it."

"YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SLEEP WITH YOUR PATIENTS."

I fall off Tye and out the bed. Marcus and Mason are standing there rubbing their eyes. Johen is losing it. And Thora has her hands on her hips. "Just joking. I always wanted to say that."

Tye shakes his head. "You could have at least shut the door. She is a real doctor. That sounds bad."

"I didn't think about that. Sorry. But anyway, we want to go treasure hunting and Mason thinks we're crazy that we can let him breathe underwater."

I get up off the floor and give everyone a dirty look. "I'm hungry."

Tye stretches. "I'm hungry and need a shower."

Thora nods. "I'm hungry too. Let's go to the boat and eat. You can take a shower there."

Johen looks at her. "Breakfast is in the pack house in like 20 minutes. Eat with everyone else. We're going to have to wait for them anyway. You know Dipak already has 12 plans."

"Yes, that's very true. I guess you could have slept for 20 more minutes, sorry."

Tye gets up. "You're brave walking in on us like that."

Thora laughs. "Nothing here is soundproof. I knew you were sleeping. We would have heard you outside if not."

"Well, that's good to know."

"I'm going to go rush the kitchen in the pack house. You go get a shower Tye. Thora, can you get Elek? I think he wanted to join us." She nods. "Johen grab the breathe masks and make sure everyone is awake at the house. Bring them to breakfast. And everyone get swimsuits on for breakfast."

Thora yells, "AND NO ONE FORGET THE COVER-UP." Marcus rolls his eyes.

I bring Marcus with me. I hold his hand and snuggle him the whole way to the pack house.

"I love you, angel."

"I love you too." I throw my arms around his neck. I give him a good kiss.

He smacks my butt. "I thought you would be mad after last night. The swimsuit fight."

I shake my head. "You don't like me being half naked in front of people for no reason. I can wear swimsuits when I'm swimming or getting sun. That's fine. I was going to wear it this morning. I got the black 1 on already, but I didn't think you would like me wearing it in the medical area. So I threw the dress over it."

"Thank you."

"I thought it might be weird for a doctor to be wearing that too. Even if I did plan to swim later. I think you might be right. I need to wear the right outfits at the right times. But I still like to be sexy. I think that's ok."

He hugs me so tight. "That's exactly it, angel. Thank you."

I kiss him. "I'll be in my swimsuit in the ocean though."

"That's fine. You should be."

I jump up and down. "Let's go rush the kitchen." I drag him into the pack house with me.

Savannah smiles. "What would you 2 like?"

"EVERYTHING COOK." I run into the kitchen. There are like 10 wolves in it. "This explains a lot."

"Good morning Luna."

"Good morning. I have everyone coming for breakfast, and we are going treasure hunting, so I need to feed them fast, so they eat and get out. Give them all eggs, toast, milk, and bacon. And some fruit of some kind. Don't even ask what they want. If they're hungry they'll eat it and get out."

Mason is losing it in the doorway.

"What kind of eggs, Luna?"

"The fast kind."

Savannah smiles at Mason. "It's good to see you laugh, sir. It's been a long time."

"I can do that. Fast eggs."

"I'll get out of your way."

I push Mason back in the dining room. He is laughing hard. "GET OUT."

"If they're hungry, they'll eat it and get out."

Dipak starts laughing. "Good plan woman. Eat and get out."

I jump up and down. "Time for treasure hunting."

Tre and Nikolas sit down. Marcus is already in his spot. 2 boy werewolves I don't know, sit down. Then Elek comes in and sits down. He looks like he just rolled out of bed.

Marcus looks at him. "Couldn't find a comb."

"I barely found pants. Thora came right in and threw me out of bed."

Johen runs in and sits down.

Dipak reads his paper. Mason is still trying to stop laughing.

Thora comes in with her swimsuit on. She's trying to put the dress on, but it's twisted up into a knot, and she can't get it past her arms.

Tye comes in with only shorts on and Marcus stands up. "YOU NEED TO BE COVERED IN THE DINING ROOM."

Thora screams, "I'M TRYING."

"I COULDN'T FIND A DAMN SHIRT."

Thora looks at Tye. "There are extras in my bag. Go ahead. I can not get this damn thing on."

Tye puts on a t-shirt.

Johen stands up and pulls the dress over Thora's head. Then he shakes it out a couple of times and puts it back.

Mason finally makes it to his chair.

Thora and Tye sit down. Johen throws the box down the table and Tye catches it.

I look at Mason and smile. "We're ready now sir."

Him and Dipak completely lose it.

After a minute, Dipak stands up. "Thank you all. That was quite the show this morning. Now. I am going to give you the plan. You know what? No. We are going to eat breakfast first. We are going to sit and eat calmly. We are not going to shove it in and choke. After we eat, I will give you the plan. So, sit there and eat... calmly."

We look at Mason. He tries not to laugh and signals for the food.

Dipak looks at Savanna. "Give the less excited people their food first. It gives us a few extra minutes to eat."

"Of course sir."

15 minutes later, everyone is done.

Dipak stands back up with a map. "This is a very rough sketch of the island. This is the mountain where the pirates were last night. Ships have been sunk there before. We are going to start there. These other 3 x's are other spots where ships were sunk. We are going to clear them 1 at a time, together. This is the open ocean. Do not be alone. Stay together as much as you can. There are sharks in these waters. Pay attention. Do you all understand?" We all nod. "Good, now, if I catch anyone at a spot we are not clearing, you are done for the day. Marcus."

Marcus stands up and explains the breather masks.

"Also, we can not talk underwater. But these masks allow you to talk. We are not ignoring you or being rude. We are completely silent underwater." They nod.

Dipak stands up. "In the event of a shark. Grab the 3 of them and speed the hell out of the water. Do not try to fight the shark."

Tye goes, "Aww, come on."

Marcus shakes his head. "Are you trying to lose your arm twice in 2 days?"

"No." He crosses his arms and looks all pouty.

"Johen, can you make us a door. The doors are still over there."

We bolt for the door.

"NO. Johen is making the door. Give him a second to make it."

Johen makes the door, and we run for it. I go under the table to get to it. I knock a chair out the way, but I get there and crawl between Tye's legs.

Tye comes through laughing at me. Then he picks me up off the ground. "Good job babydoll." We strip the extra clothes off.

Dipak comes in with Marcus and Mason last. Marcus rubs his eyes. "Maybe we should make them line up single file next time."

Dipak nods. "That was brutal. Pretty sure a couple of chairs died."

They laugh. Then the werewolves put on their masks.

"We're ready."

Dipak nods. "LET'S GO."

We take off into the water so fast. We clear everything by lunch. There were 8 boats total but 1 had gold bars. We get them though. And we look at some fish. I see turtles and point them out to every single person. One of the sides of the island has a reef. We get stuck on that for a while. Then Dipak kicks us out.

"We found gold bars, good job. We'll split them with Alpha Mason. The ships have been cleared now. So, we are done with this. We are going to Tye's island to eat lunch and then back here. If you want to look at the reef some more, that's fine. But still no one can go alone. And at the first sign or sight of a shark, you speed your asses out. And I only want you on this side of the island underwater. I do not want you all, all over the place. So this side, with the reef, is for underwater stuff only. Everyone understand?"

Thora raises her hand. "We can still swim everywhere right?"

"Of course. Just save the underwater stuff for the reef."

"Ok."

"Everyone got that?"

We all nod.

"Let's go eat."

Tye makes us a door, and we end up on the beach with our clothes. We put the cover-ups back on, and he makes us another door to his inn. We sit at the tables by the beach and eat island food.

Tre looks around. "So what's everyone's plans?"

Elek smiles. "I really need a nap."

Thora nods. "Me too."

I smile. "I want to go back to the reef. It's so pretty."

Tye and Johen shake their heads.

Tre smiles. "I'll go with you baby."

I smile and get all wiggly.

Nikolas gets another bowl. "I'm going to search the far side of the mountain. I'm wondering if the pirates weren't hiding treasure somewhere around there. I mean the island looks empty. Maybe that's what they were doing here."

Marcus nods. "That is true. I'll fly around too. See if anything catches my eye."

Dipak looks at Tre. "I'm going to figure out the wolf wash. We're going to have to put one in at the castle. Aurelia will end up killing us all if not."

Thora looks at him. "Try to adjust it, so it takes humans too. That would be super convenient for when we come home covered in blood."

Tye cracks up laughing. "Then you come out with your hair dried straight out at every angle."

We laugh and joke as we finish lunch.
