I was seething with anger. I was told that the Queen only had a son. There was nothing that mentioned a little girl. They looked to be around the same age, so maybe twins? No, that wouldn't make sense. Why keep one kid a secret?
“Where’s the boy?” The Alpha asked.
“I didn’t get him. He wasn’t alone,” I answered.
“Then you should have killed whoever was with him and brought the boy to me!” He shouted at me.
“She was just a child.”
“And what makes you think I care!? Was she a hybrid?” He boomed.
“I’m not sure, she seemed to be a human.”
“Humans are nothing but scum,” he spat. “They are just as vile as hybrids.”
I didn’t say anything. I knew the Alpha hated hybrids, but I didn’t know why he hated humans so much. I guess since they are weak and insignificant creatures. But
