Alpha Colton was an i***t. He was a new Alpha, who just had his Alpha ceremony less than a year ago. But I guess it made sense. His father was always opposed to the idea of having a hybrid as the ruler of all supernaturals. He challenged every rule and at one point forced another Alpha to challenge Marcy. That alpha nearly died, and he stayed quiet for a while. But clearly, he passed his ideology to his son.
