A few days later
Lilian POV
It was almost lunchtime, so I ordered food which was soon delivered to me and I took a cab to Nate's office since he told me where it was located. I wanted to have lunch with him today, and who knows, if he is free later, we could hang out and spend some time together.
"We are here, ma'am," the cabby's voice pulled me back to reality as I have been lost in thoughts, and that was when I realized that he already pulled over in front of the company.
"Thank you," I finally hopped out of the car and paid him before he drove off, and I took a deep breath, heading to the big iron gate afterward.
"Is the CEO around, please?" I asked the receptionist when I got to the reception, and the young lady stared at me for a few seconds with a confused expression
