Nate POV
I wanted to ask her about what Ren said to me earlier and make things clear to her that I have a girlfriend, but I didn't have the courage to, especially with the thoughts that kept lingering in my mind. What if Ren was just mistaken? What if she doesn't have feelings for me? That is going to make everything awkward so isn't it just fine that I let things be and pretend I didn't hear anything from Ren?
"Is there something bothering you?" She asked me, but I quickly shook my head because I didn't even know how I was going to put it to her and she will understand me.
"Nothing. Enjoy your meal," I said to her, and she slowly nodded her head. I watched as she eat her food peacefully and I asked myself again if Ren was saying the truth because I couldn't figure anything
