Chapter Twenty-Three Finn I leaned against the counter in my kitchen, running a hand through my hair as I waited for the coffee to finish brewing. It was early, and we had another court hearing today. Sutton’s lawyers had engaged in a common delaying tactic used by those on the defense in court cases and asked for a continuance two days ago. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they asked for another continuance today.
