CHAPTER 5 – AXEL IS CURIOUS
Victor just stared at him. The man reacted as if they had been best friends for ages and he didn’t understand why.
Victor knew he couldn’t possibly have anything that Axel would need. During the last fifteen years, he had never met someone who would offer their friendship without asking anything in return.
Axel turned his palms up, begging for a story. The light in his eyes made Victor laugh and forget his cynicism for a moment.
“ What do you want to know?” Victor asked, glad that at least Axel considered to ask questions instead of prying for answers in his mind.
