CHAPTER 7 – SURPRISES ABOUND
“ What? What is it?” Axel asked, in an excited voice. He was so curious that he forgot about prying into Victor’s thoughts.
“ Tomorrow, at 3:35 in the afternoon, a woman comes from Romania. I have never met her, but my mother insisted that I offered her a place to stay for a couple of months until she found a job and could rent an apartment,” Victor explained in a rush. “She’s the youngest daughter of one of my mother’s school friends who married and moved to Sibiu. That’s why I don’t know her.”
“ That’s good,” Axel said. “Isn’t it?” he asked when Victor scowled. “She could help you during the following few weeks.”
