CHAPTER 13 – DISCONTENT AT A CRIME SCENE When Leah stepped into the victim’s house with Axel and Mark in tow, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Several people were trespassing the crime scene without any worry that they could destroy important evidence. They were milling around as if they had been in the food court at the mall. She hardly stopped a groan, but her eyes narrowed to slits, throwing arrows right and left. Her hands fisted so tight that her nails scratched the skin of her palms. Leah looked around for the person responsible for that flagrant breach in procedure, ready to chew them up and spit them out.
