Deep within a hidden ruin far from the wolf territories, dark flames flickered against ancient stone walls.
Selene Bloodmoon stood at the center of a ritual circle, her crimson eyes glowing as black magic swirled around her.
The air vibrated with power.
Before her, a vision slowly formed.
A young woman standing beneath a full moon.
Silver light wrapped around her like a living aura.
Selene’s lips curled into a slow, dangerous smile.
“So it has begun.”
One of her followers stepped forward cautiously.
“My lady?”
Selene raised her hand, freezing the vision in place.
Ava’s face became clear.
“The Moonborn has awakened,” Selene said softly.
Shock rippled through the witches gathered around her.
“That is impossible,” one whispered. “The Moon Goddess has not returned in centuries.”
Selene’s smile widened.
“Yet here she stands.”
She stepped closer to the swirling magic, studying Ava’s image with keen interest.
“So much power… and she doesn’t even understand it yet.”
Her eyes darkened.
“Find her.”
The witches bowed immediately.
“Yes, my lady.”
As the vision faded, Selene turned away, her expression cold and calculating.
“The power of a goddess will belong to me,” she murmured.
“And when it does…”
Her voice dropped into a whisper.
“No one will stand against me.”
