Chpater 2: Silas, The Bar Man

"Aria!" Ana called me while waving her hand kaya napangiti ako.
Ana walked towards me at napahinto din siya ng mapansin ang gwapong nilalang sa likod ko.
"Ow, I forgot," natataranta kong sabi sabay lingon ulit sa lalaking nasa likod ko "Maraming salamat pala kanina."
He nodded so, I smiled. I was shocked when he suddenly walked towards me, he caressed my cheeks and kissed me on my lips. I was shocked and unable to speak a single word then he left like he did nothing.
I faced Ana, whose beside me and gasping. I can't blame her with the reaction because even me, never expected that.
"Ang landi mo, b***h! umalis lang ako para hanapin saglit ang bebe ko pagkatapos yun ang aabutan ko?" she hysterically said "ganda yan? ganda ka, Aria??"
"Shut up, Ana! Ang tagal mo kayang nawala muntik na ako hatakin ng isang p*****t dito kanina, buti nalang dumating yung lalaki!" I exclaimed.
"What's the name of that handsome? She asked without even listening to me.
I forgot to asked his name. Sayang naman.
"I didn't asked" I replied.
"huh?" nagtataka niya naman tanong
Tahimik lang akong nakatingin sakanya habang siya naman ay pilit na inaalam kung nagsasabi ba ako ng totoo kaya naman mapait akong ngumiti sakanya habang tumatango.
"Seriously?" she exclaimed in disbelief. "b***h, baka yun na ang magdidilig sa tuyo mong sampaguita! Ano ka ba naman, why you didn't asked his name, sayang."
Kung di ko lang kaibigan itong si Ana, baka nasipa ko na ito.
"Ba't parang kasalanan ko?" Nagtatakang tanong ko rito. "Nasaan na pala yung bago mong bebe na sinasabi mo?
"Andun, nakikipaglandian na iba" She replied, giving me her normal expression like it was a normal thing.
"And? Okay lang sayo?" nalilito ko namang tanong.
"Oo bes, ok lang yun. Di naman siya handsome." She murmured, biting her lips and waving for random guys.
Anabelle will never be Anabelle kung di siya natural na maharot.
Months later, nakapag resign na ako sa trabaho. I am currently planning for my vacation.
I choose to go on Siargao for my 15 days vacation. Gustuhin mang sumama ni Ana, pero dahil may trabaho siya ay di niya magawa.
I still have my 2 days prep before my flight kaya naman maaga pa lang ay sinigurado ko na kompleto na ang mga daldalhin ko.
I was busy choosing some bikinis in the mall when I heard unfamilliar guy talking outside the boutique.
"Silas, look at that girl," I heard "That one, holding a white bikini. You fucktard!" He hissed. I automatically looked at the bikini I am holding, noticing that it was white kaya naman biglaan ko itong nabitawan.
Why are they talking about me? I know, I'm pretty... wait, are they really talking about me?
Napalingon naman ako sa paligid ko at napansin ko na halos 3 lang naman kaming nandito.
I spotted the man, standing on the side of the boutique. He doesn't seems familliar to me. I shifted my gaze to the man standing beside him, he looks so bored.
Fuck! It's him, the man at the bar.
I called the attention of the staff to inform her that I'll be back to pay those bikinis.
I walked straight to them, standing in front of him without saying anything.
He was staring at me, looking bored.
"What? you want another kiss? He asked.
Ano raw?
"Yes!" I exclaimed, I panicked after realizing what I have said "I mean... no way! Why would I?"
His friend bursted out laughing that made us glare to him.
"What? It's just that you look cute together." He reasoned out.
"f**k off, Adonis." The bar man replied.
Yeah, it's the bar man.
Adonis raised his both hands giving a sign that he give in, chuckling.
I won't be shocked if all of his friend acts that way. They will be like bunch of idiots.
"So, what are you doing in that store... alone?" He asked.
"Ow, it's actually none of your business." I replied making Adonis laughed again holding his stomach while looking at his friend raising his eyebrows.
Adonis didn't stopped laughing. "f**k off you too, Silas. None of your business daw." Adonis blurted out, laughing uproarously.
"Look, woman. I am being nice here, asking you are doing in that store so I might help you." He explained, trying to calm himself.
I really don't mind going alone but I also don't mind being with him. It's not that I will keep on pulling him like a kid.
"Just buying some bikinis for my vacation." I answered and walked back to the store.
I thought he will left with his friend but he followed me inside the boutique.
I was minding own business, habang si Silas naman ay nakamasid lang.
I picked up two bikinis with the same style, its black and the other one is red.
"What do you think about this?" showing him the two lacy bikinis.
He blinked a couple of times then shyly pointed the red one. "I think you look sexy on red." He commented then shifted his gazed to his left side.
"You must be going on a vacation." he commented, watching me struggled with the 7 pairs of bikini.
"Yeah, going to Siargao." I replied.
"I guess, I'll just see you there?" he said.
After paying, Silas left because of some important meeting. I assumed.
Well, he said he will see me in siargao. I didn't really asked him if it's true or not. I wouldn't mind as long as he will not be a big stumbling block during my stay there.
Pagkauwi ko, nakita ko si Ana na tulalang nakaupo sa tapat ng maleta ko. I asked her why is she spacing out and looked so sad then she reasoned out na malungkot siya dahil walang magluluto ng pagkain para sa kanya.
It makes me think that I am her nanny rather that her bestfriend.
I hope she will stay alive until I get back here in Manila.
