The Cursed Holiday episode 14

685 Words
As the years passed, the hotel remained abandoned, a testament to the terror that had taken place within its walls. But the voice never stopped whispering its menacing message to anyone who would listen. One day, a young journalist named Emily decided to investigate the hotel. She had heard the rumors and the legends, but she didn't believe them. She was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery and uncover the truth. As she approached the hotel, she felt a chill run down her spine. The building loomed above her, its windows like empty eyes staring back. Emily steeled herself and stepped inside. The lobby was dimly lit, the air thick with dust and the stench of decay. She coughed, covering her mouth with her hand. As she made her way deeper into the hotel, she began to feel a strange presence around her. It was as if she was being watched, but every time she turned around, there was no one there. Suddenly, Emily heard the voice. It was low and rasping, and it seemed to be coming from all around her. "You'll never leave," it said. "You'll never escape." Emily spun around, trying to locate the source of the voice. But there was no one there. She tried to shake off the feeling of unease, telling herself that it was just her imagination. But as she continued to explore the hotel, she began to realize that she was not alone. There were others there, souls trapped between worlds, unable to move on. Emily saw them out of the corner of her eye, fleeting glimpses of people who had once lived and breathed. As she delved deeper into the hotel, Emily began to uncover the dark secrets that lay within its walls. She discovered that the hotel had been built on an ancient burial ground, and that the spirits of the dead had been disturbed by its construction. The voice, Emily realized, was the spirit of a woman who had died in the hotel many years ago. She had been trapped between worlds, unable to move on, and her spirit had become twisted and corrupted by the darkness that surrounded her. As Emily prepared to leave the hotel, she heard the voice one last time. "You'll never leave," it said. "You'll never escape." But Emily just smiled. She knew that she had uncovered the truth, and that she had freed the trapped souls from their torment. As she walked out of the hotel, Emily felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she had faced her fears and overcome them. But as she looked back at the hotel, she saw something that made her blood run cold. The windows of the hotel seemed to be staring back at her, and the voice seemed to be whispering in her ear. "You'll never leave," it said. "You'll never escape." Emily spun around and ran, not stopping until she was back in her car and speeding away from the hotel. She knew that she had to get as far away from the hotel as possible, before it was too late. As she drove, Emily couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She kept looking in the rearview mirror, expecting to see the hotel looming behind her. But every time she looked, there was nothing there. Or so she thought. As Emily drove further and further away from the hotel, she began to feel a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that she had escaped the hotel's clutches, and that she was safe. But as she rounded a bend in the road, Emily saw something that made her heart skip a beat. The hotel was sitting in the middle of the road, its windows staring back at her like empty eyes. Emily slammed on the brakes, skidding to a stop just inches from the hotel's front door. As she sat there, frozen in terror, the voice spoke to her one last time. "You'll never leave," it said. "You'll never escape." And with that, everything went black. to be Continued.....
