The Cursed Holiday episode 15

702 Words
As Emily sat there, frozen in terror, she felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if she was being pulled out of her body, and into a different realm. When she opened her eyes, she found herself standing in a grand ballroom. The room was filled with people, all dressed in formal attire. But as Emily looked closer, she realized that they were all ghosts. At the center of the room, Emily saw a figure standing alone. It was a woman, dressed in a long, flowing gown. Her eyes were black as coal, and they seemed to bore into Emily's soul. "Welcome," the woman said, her voice low and rasping. "I have been waiting for you." Emily tried to speak, but her voice was frozen in her throat. The woman began to laugh, a cold, mirthless sound. "You should not have come here," she said. "Now you will never leave." As the woman spoke, Emily felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if she was being pulled into the woman's world, a world of darkness and terror. But then, something strange happened. Emily felt a sense of calm wash over her. She realized that she was not afraid of the woman, or the hotel. She was not afraid of death itself. The woman's eyes narrowed, as if she sensed Emily's newfound courage. "You are different," she said. "Most people who come here are consumed by fear. But you... you are not afraid." Emily shook her head. "I'm not afraid of you," she said. "I want to know why you're trapped here. What do you need to be freed?" The woman's eyes seemed to flash with surprise. No one had ever asked her that before. "I was murdered here," she said. "By my husband. He was jealous of my wealth and my beauty. He killed me in this very hotel, and then he hid my body. But my spirit was trapped here, unable to move on." Emily's eyes widened in horror. "That's terrible," she said. "But what do you need to be freed?" The woman's eyes seemed to bore into Emily's soul. "I need you to find my body," she said. "I need you to uncover the truth about my death. And I need you to bring my husband to justice." Emily nodded, determination in her heart. "I'll do it," she said. "I'll find your body, and I'll uncover the truth. And I'll make sure that your husband pays for what he did to you." The woman's eyes seemed to flash with gratitude. And then, in an instant, she was gone. Emily found herself back in her car, parked in front of the hotel. She was shaken, but she was determined. She knew that she had to uncover the truth about the woman's death, and bring her husband to justice. And so, Emily began her investigation. She searched the hotel from top to bottom, looking for any clues that might lead her to the woman's body. She talked to the locals, asking them if they knew anything about the hotel's dark past. And finally, after weeks of searching, Emily found what she was looking for. She discovered a hidden room deep in the hotel's basement, and inside, she found the woman's body. It was a shocking discovery, but Emily was determined to see justice done. She called the police, and they arrested the woman's husband, who had been living in the hotel all along. As the husband was taken away, Emily felt a sense of satisfaction. She had uncovered the truth, and she had brought the perpetrator to justice. And as she walked out of the hotel, Emily felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if the woman's spirit was finally at peace, and she was free to move on. Emily smiled, feeling a sense of closure. She knew that she had done something good, something that would bring peace to the woman's spirit, and justice to those who had been wronged. And as she walked away from the hotel, Emily knew that she would never forget the woman's story, and the terror that she had faced in that haunted hotel. to be Continued.....
