The next morning, after a team of doctors and nurses, including Sam, came in to check his cognitive memory function and vision, he had a CAT scan to look for any evidence of brain swelling. The whole time they were checking him, John kept hoping one of them would notice the strange brownish swirls on his left forearm. He glanced down at his arm several times, but he saw nothing.
