"Here" I said, helping Jim feel his baby sister's little kicks. Excited, he pressed his small small on my belly, and squealed in delight when he felt her move under his palm.
“Is that really her?” he asked, incredulous.
“Yep. It's really her,” I smiled. “She wanted to say hi to her big brother.”
A big smile grew on his face. “Hi baby sister ... I'm Jim!” he grinned. “Mommy, when is she coming out?”
“Soon ... just about five months,” I explained. “And if she does like you and Violet, a little longer.”
Their delivery had been induced a week after their due date, because those two didn't feel like going out - I really hoped the baby would be on time.
“You must give her her time, you rascal,” Aunt Frances laughed, walking in with three steaming cups of tea.
