REBECCA It had been a long, long time since I had been just a wolf. Usually, even during transformations, I always tried to keep some control - it was a matter of safety, after all. It was something I had learned over time: how to coexist with my wildest instincts, with the animal inside of me, to avoid unpleasant situations. Only a few times I had allowed myself to lose control - usually in battles, where I needed to overhear human morals and principles and simply do whatever was necessary to protect the pack.
