REBECCA “This looks cute,” I said, showing Reiner a pink onesie and unable to keep a smile off my face. Just a few hours earlier, right before breakfast, Mark had burst into our house, as excited as a child on Christmas morning, to see if Reiner had finally figured out what was "wrong" with me. One look at our faces, and he knew we knew. “Well, there’s one thing you don’t know, that only I do!” he exclaimed, waving the envelope with my blood test results. “Well, me and my girlfriend, of course, who's the lab tech who ran your tests.” That was, of course, the baby's gender - and of course, we didn’t hesitate to tear open the envelope.
