Sitting here listening to my family at each other's throats is pissing me off. I suggested we all take a break, and I asked Declan if we could speak in private away from the girls.
"Declan, we have known one another a long time. Be straight with me. How hard will it be to retrieve this journal or anything else you need from the castle?" I asked.
"I'm not going to lie to you, Maddix. It's going to be really difficult. I'm sure they have guards watching every door to the castle. It's not going to be easy to just slip in and out," Declan stated.
