*ALETTE POV*
When Maddix came walking out the door holding that precious little boy, my whole body relaxed. Max had kept his word, and wasn't lying about his son.
"Well, who do we have here, Big Brother?" I asked as I rubbed the little boy's back.
"Excuse my rudeness, Alette. This is my son, Asher. Asher, these are your cousins. Well, for the most part. Should we all go inside?" Max asked.
My dads gave each other a weary look, but nodded and motioned for us all to go inside. Well, everyone except our warriors.
My dad, Loki, gave them specific instructions to notify him if anyone even attempted to start anything. For the most part, the house looked secluded, and it appeared as if Max and his family were the only ones here, but we can't be too cautious in situations like this.
