I was nominated to go to the waiting room and inform everyone of what was going to go down.
As soon as the family saw me, they came rushing over to me. "How is she?" mom asked.
I held up both hands, and told them to quiet down.
"Alette is doing well. She is fully awake now, and her midwife and doctor have checked her out. They have made a decision on who can be in the room with them, and once I say their choice, there will be conditions that follow. So please listen carefully. I had already promised her that if anyone didn't follow her wishes, I would personally walk them out," I began.
