I already knew that my parents were going to try and pressure me into taking the Alpha position at either Spirit Mountain or Blood Moon. That's why I made sure to go to my sister and brother first.
As much as I respected the fact that my parents had that much confidence in me, I wasn't budging from my stance on just being a doctor. It is all I have ever wanted to do since I was a kid.
I tried to do both, but I was miserable when I had to perform any of the Beta duties, and Alpha duties are much more stressful.
