I barely slept, but what rest I did get will hopefully get me through this morning. I can nap later with the boys if I need to. This can't be put off any longer. My Mate's mental health depended on the end of the monster living in the cell house and her head.
I carefully unwrapped myself from the love of my life, and attempted to get off of bed without waking her. It was still very early, and she hadn't gone to sleep until very late. She stirred a bit, but after pulling our comforter snug around her, she was fast asleep again.
