*Phoenix POV*
Everything is black. I can hear words, but I can't make out what they are saying. The only voice I hear clearly is my wolf, Phineas. He only speaks when I'm sinking further into the darkness, and right now, I can't find my way out of the dark. Fully sinking into it sounds pretty good about now.
"If you sink, I sink. Ava needs us, human. You are better than this, and just like the bird tied to your name, you will rise from these ashes and be better for it. Just rest your mind, and things will look better once you get a rest," he said.
