The relief I felt when I heard Asteria demand Kyle to be released was more than words could describe. I felt bad for lying to them when I said I only snuck in one time, but in truth, it was more than a dozen.
No matter how hard I tried to stay away, I couldn't. My mate was in a cell for obeying an order he didn't want to follow in the first place, and I needed to get to know him to determine if I wanted to fight for him or reject him.
