Ginger is coming back today so that I can join Gunner at Brave River. Apparently, I am needed in this situation with Issac. When Alette told me who he was, I was speechless. I would never have guessed that he would be family.
I also wouldn't have expected Maddix or my dads to go easy on him like they have. That had to be because of Declan. They trust him, and if he wants to put his honor on the line to protect Issac, then my brothers and dads will trust his word.
"Is the van ready with the car seats and all of our bags?" I asked Patrick. He was driving us again, but had been warned about driving like a maniac with my children in the car.
