It has become obvious that we weren't prepared for this meeting. Not like we thought we were. It's true that Caleb and I are still young and new to the workings of how being an Alpha is.
Growing up, Phoenix and I always knew that Maddix would be the Alpha of Blood Moon. We never imagined that our family would have control of so many packs, and one of us would be put into the position of running one of them.
When Maddix brought up the idea of DJ and Asteria, along with their Betas switching off and on while staying there, I thought it would be Asteria to explode. However, she didn't, not really. I think what happened in her pack has got her thinking differently than before.
