After talking to Addie and Gunner, I felt so much better about things, and I couldn't wait to spend the rest of the day and, hopefully, evening with Cylas.
I decided to go to my room and get cleaned up, and wait for him to come by. However, as I was heading upstairs, my phone dinged. It was a text from Cylas letting me know he would be running a little late. He had to help Eric check out a spot along our border. They think they may have found the breach we have been looking for.
I sent him a quick text back and told him that it was fine, and I would see him soon. I continued on my way to my room, and once inside, I locked the door.
