Being woken up with the sun blinding me was not my idea of a good time. Some of the things I'm learning about my mate are definitely different from how I am.
Once her eyes open and her feet hit the floor, the curtains have to be open. Even though we sort of live in the forest, it's still bright when she opens the curtains.
"Ahhhh, babe. Already?" I asked. She giggled and said, "Yes, if we keep the curtains closed all day then we will stay in bed all day. Letting natural light in is good for us, and besides, you have a meeting in less than an hour," she said.
