Addie just called saying she needed my services, but the reasoning behind it infuriated me. Who did this damned doctor think he was? He had no right to force himself on anyone, no matter what his status was.
While waiting for her and Gunner to finish with my brother, uncle and aunt, I paced the floor in the common room. I was on Damian's last nerve, that was for sure, and I think I was borderline starting to annoy my mom and sister, Asteria.
