*Asteria POV*
What a way to be woken up. There is no way to go back to sleep after hearing that news. Donavon tried to get me to rest a little longer, because he called my uncle to check on my sister, and my aunt Roxy had given her a safe sedative to help her sleep.
We decided that we would wait until morning to go over to see her, because it would be useless to just go and watch her sleep. Since then, I have just been lying here staring at the backs of my eyelids.
Donavon had pulled up a chair close to the front window, and had just been sitting there looking out into the woods, and smoking his pipe.
The sun was starting to rise, and there was a slight fog lying close to the ground. When you add the misty rain, it makes the whole area look ominous.
