I was just sitting down to eat something when I got the SOS link from DJ. We hadn't been home for very long, and Alette was napping with the kids. I hated waking her up because I knew she was exhausted, but just leaving a note wasn't an option in this situation.
She started to panic, but I assured her everything would be fine, and not attempt to follow me in hopes of helping her sister. I had to use my Alpha tone on her, and hoped it would stick even a little. I don't think it did, but she agreed to stay put with the kids in mind.
I quickly linked my head warrior and Buck, and they met me in the training fields at Starry Moon. They had been able to gather close to 75 warriors to help out, and once Jason and Joel joined us, we shifted and ran towards Ruby Meadows.
