Damian just arrived home, and explained everything about what happened. Including my sister's melt down. We brought four little guests with us for a few days, and he thought I would be mad that he brought them home.
"I don't know why you thought I would be mad, I'm perfectly fine with it. They lost their whole lives as they knew it, and it's only right that everyone pitches in to make sure they are cared for," I told him.
He pulled me close and thanked me for being supportive. I didn't see the mess that was left behind at Ruby Meadows, and it broke my heart that he did.
"Donavon says they are starting construction as soon as possible. They are doing a mass send-off ceremony tomorrow for those who lost their lives, and I think we should be there," he said.
