*Gunner POV*
When I left Town Hall, I quickly walked outside. Without hesitation, I took off running and shifted into Axl.
"Axl, stay on pack ground, but take all the time you need. I'm sorry for not letting you out sooner," I told him. I then told him I was retreating into the back of his mind so that I could rest my mental state, and away he ran towards the mountain.
He had a favorite spot that sat high on the mountain, near a fresh spring. It was peaceful and had a large area of soft moss he liked to lie on.
Once we made it to his spot, he lay next to the spring and just watched the sky. He was in his happy spot, and at peace. Something that I wished I had at the moment, but my happy place was almost four and half hours away.
