Contractions are 4 minutes apart right now, and Roxy says I am ready whenever baby is ready. They had given me something to help me dilate, and applied a thinning gel to help as well.
I had been contracting for close to 6 hours at that point, and was so tired.
"Why don't you try and get some rest? Alette is here if you need her to come in, and Adelina is on her way," DJ whispered. He was also exhausted, and in need of rest.
I suggested that he call Alette in to sit with me and time my contractions, and he lay on the couch and slept for a bit before it was fully go time. He reluctantly agreed when I told him that he wouldn't be of any use to me if he fell asleep during the delivery.
