*Alette POV* My sisters may have been able to sleep during all of this, but Riley and I were wide awake. Riley was mostly awake due to Sterling being cranky. He was such a moody boy, so different from what Maddix was as a kid. Maddix was so carefree and mellow for most of his childhood. It was only when our dads decided to start his training did he lose a little of his free spirit. "He senses the stress we are all under," I told Riley. She nodded her head and cradled him closer.
