I sat there in complete shock, as my dad and Alpha Axton left the room together. "Mom, what is going on?" I asked, extremely worried, more like concerned. "There is no need to stress yourself Lill. You just sit there, relax, and work on healing. Have you heard from Stella?" She redirected the conversation that she had learned to become a master at, as she adjusted my blankets. "No, I haven't. I feel her but she is way back in my mind." I answered her question. Letting myself grow quiet, turning towards the window. The sun was beginning to set. The mixture of oranges, reds and yellows flashing across the sky was peaceful. Almost a calming presence like I was home. But I know that I am not home, yet I am okay with it.
